Welcome to Slade Military Books website. My aim is to offer a diverse and ever changing selection of interesting and often scarce, mostly out-of-print, military books at reasonable prices.

I specialise in British military campaigns from the Napoleonic Wars through the Colonial and World Wars to the post-1945 ‘brush-fire’ actions, regimental histories and reference books, especially those related to collecting campaign medals. The catalogue also contains some books about other wars, including those written by professional British military observers. The catalogue has a powerful search facility which will down select books related to your particular area of interest.

Based in Trowbridge, the County Town of Wiltshire, for many years I have been trading at militaria and book fairs across Southern England, and will continue to do so. I have marked those events at which I will be trading in the calendar.
